Critically acclaimed director Mohan Krishna Indraganti is back with the love story between a commoner and a showbiz starlet. The film has garnered good attention from movie buffs after the refreshing trailers and breezy audio. The movie is a romance drama with a good dose of entertainment quotient with a fresh pair in the lead roles. Sammohanam is one such movie that has been sending all positive vibes right from the beginning.

Ajay Kumar (Subeer Babu) lives with his happy family – Dad, Mom and sister. His dad (Naresh) is a movie buff whose life ambition is to act in films. Naresh rents his home for movie shooting. Sameera (Aditi Rao Hydari) is the heroine comes to shoot along with the movie crew. Ajay is a cartoonist who detests film stars but he falls in love with a film actress Sameera forms the crux of the story. When Ajay proposes, Sameera neither rejects nor accepts but is indifferent which is later revealed in the flashback. The movie even touches on the ongoing hot topic casting couch.

Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao Hydari have delivered good performances and the chemistry between the two is the highlight of the movie. The movie has decent production values. Mohan Krishna Indraganti has come up with a routine love story with a unique angle. Overall, this film may appeal to the audience in overseas and urban centres. It earns ‘ good attempt ‘ tag but excruciatingly slow! Watch the movie in the theatres nearby you.
