The debutant director Venu Udugula has managed to put together a film that stands out from the rest. Hero Sree Vishnu is slowly but steadily making his presence felt in Tollywood. His latest film is Needi Nadi Oke Katha. One of the biggest assets of the film is the emotional content. The film is filled with realistic and moving emotions. The father and son relationship is showcased in a magnificent way. Considering the budget, the movie looks top class.

Needi Naadi Oke Katha story is all about, Rudraraj Sagar (Sree Vishnu), the son of a highly respected teacher (Devi Prasad), who lives life by principles. He fails in his exams three times in a row, much to his father’s displeasure, and does something silly that tarnishes his father’s reputation greatly. He decides to redeem himself in his father’s eyes and seeks the help of the studious Dharmika (Satna Titus), who introduces him to the motivational works of a speaker (Posani Krishna Murali). But what happens when, despite his best attempts, Sagar fails to fall in line with the system.

The director deserves all credit, his dialogues and direction are pretty good. Brilliant performances by lead casting especially from Sree Vishnu and Devi Prasad adds strength to the film. Few may complain this as a slow paced film, but to generate right emotions, one cannot do with fast paced screenplay. On the whole it is an emotional family drama which every student and parent can relate to. If you ignore the slow pace and predictable storyline, this film is as an interesting watch this weekend.
