MLA has Kalyan Ram playing a common man who takes the political route under dire circumstances. This is a very crucial film for Kalyan Ram as he is going through a bad patch as an actor and Kajal Aggarwal is the film’s leading lady. The trailers have hinted that MLA puts the Pataas actor in a completely different zone. Lets check out if MLA gives the much-needed break for Kalyan Ram.

Kalyan ( Kalyan Ram) and Indu ( Kajal) who meet each other coincidentally multiple times finally end up in the same office, where Posani is the boss. Due to a land encroachment issue with Gadappa (Ravi Kishan), Kalyan lays a bet with Indu and how he goes about winning the bet to win the love of Kajal forms the first half. Indu’s father Jayaprakash Reddy’s family has an eternal desire to be an MLA and couldn’t realize the dream of becoming an MLA. Due to this dream, Kajal crosses path with Gadappa (Ravi Kishan). How Kalyan goes about winning the love of Kajal and in turn becoming an MLA for it forms the core of second half.

Kalyan Ram as MLA fits well in the character and Kajal as Indu makes a good pair. Walking out of the movie, one may feel that the writer, Upendra Madhav dominates the director. Shyam K Naidu who handled the camera for songs did a good job. Music and editing are par for the course. A one time watch that too if you wanna kill some time.
