Avengers: Infinity War is the perfect culmination of all the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Marvel Studios took a decade to meticulously plan this mammoth showdown of all their fictional heroes together for the first time on screen. Irrespective of your opinion on the superhero film genre, you cannot deny that this movie is an ambitious undertaking and the biggest of its kind, making it a significant event in the film history. Directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo along with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige have accomplished what would have once been impossible.

The story is about the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) comes together to take on the mighty Thanos who threatens to put an end to the universe. Thanos played by Josh Brolin from the planet Titan is in search of Infinity Stones that were created just after the big bang. The stones are spread across the galaxy and two of them have found their way to Earth. Thanos doesn’t care about eliminating anyone who comes in his way and it is up to the Avengers, Dr. Strange played by Benedict Cumberbatch and the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop him now.

The movie is the biggest crossover in history, it has been done without compromising the essence of each character. If you’ve felt we’re nearing superhero exhaustion, Marvel just went and changed the rules leaving you begging for more proving yet again that they are the real masters of this game. It has all your favorite superheroes in one single movie. What more could you want? There’s so much to digest, it guarantees you a second viewing. Definitely watch it.
