Kangana Ranaut Will Represent India at Gandhi Summit


A renowned name and a famous star of Bollywood will represent India during the summit which is scheduled for August.

The Gandhi Goes Global summit of 2018 will also be attended by former First Lady of America Michelle Obama and celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and a talk show host. The Bollywood actress is looking forward to sharing the stage with the famous personalities.

The motto behind this summit is to spread Gandhian philosophy throughout the world. Gandhi was the follower of non-violence, so in the summit, the organizer will aim to circulate his thoughts. Even they will promote Khadi and the courses on Gandhian thoughts to the universities in the US.

Kangana is a well-known actress from Bollywood is also active in social work. When asked her about attending the summit, she said from the early ages itself she started reading books on Gandhi. She follows his thoughts too. She is interested to attend the summit and spread Gandhian thoughts.

She even informed that she wasn’t ever a fan of any personality, but Oprah Winfrey is an icon for her, she has watched all her talk shows and said it would be a great moment that she will represent India globally and will share the stage with Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey. Michelle Obama is very much active in social work and her speech touches the audience. So now it is important for Kangana to get prepared for the speech which she will give in the summit.

The ‘Gandhi Goes Global’ summit will be held on 18th and 19th August 2018 in New Jersey. It is a great initiative of spreading nonviolence and Gandhian thoughts outside India. It will give a platform to spread such kind of values all over the world.
